- Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to Kandy (approx. 3-4 hours).
- Enroute Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and watch the elephants bathe in the river.
- Check into Hotel and Rest for the day.
- Overnight at Hotel.
Kandy City Tour
- Post Breakfast, Visit the Gem Museum and Gem Shop to learn about Sri Lanka's precious stones.
- Enjoy a cultural show.
- Explore Kandy City tour, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kandy Temple, a sacred Buddhist site, Peradeniya Botanical Garden, one of the largest and most beautiful botanical gardens in Asia.
- Return to Kandy and overnight at hotel.
- Note: One is expected to walk a lot to see the Peradeniya Botanical Garden and Kandy temple will require climbing 30-40 steps.
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
- Post breakfast, depart for Nuwara Eliya (approx. 2-3 hours).
- Visit a tea factory and tea garden to learn about Sri Lanka's famous tea industry.
- Visit the Ramboda Hanuman Temple, a sacred Hindu site.
- Overnight at Hotel at Nuwara Eliya.
Nuwara Eliya Tour
- Visit Sita Amman Temple, a sacred Hindu site dedicated to Goddess Sita.
- Explore the Victoria Park and Gregory Lake, a beautiful park with a variety of plants and flowers.
- Visit the Ashoka Vatica, a sacred Buddhist site.
- Enjoy the scenic views of Nuwara Eliya while experiencing the local train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella for 2.5 hours that takes you into the scenic world of Sri Lanka.
